This analog Line sensor array for line follower robots is based on TCRT-5000 IR sensors and have been designed for Arduino Mega users. It has a total of 10 IR sensors and requires 10 analog pins of a microcontroller or Arduino board (like Arduino Mega). Moreover, this sensor has got IR LED control option that lets you turn ON and OFF the IR LEDs of the sensor array using a digital pin of Arduino. 1. Best analog line sensor for Arduino Mega. Also compatible with any 5V Arduino board.

2. Supports Pololu QTR library (QTR RA). You can use it just like a Pololu QTR analog sensor.

3. Sunlight and flash resistant. Ability to turn ON & OFF IR LEDs by arduino digital pin.

4. Small and compact design. Uniform 1cm distance between IR sensors for better line detection.

  • 1 cm spacing between two adjacent sensors, covering 9cm distance by the entire sensor array.
  • Recommended operational height from ground 3mm-15mm. (height of IR sensors tip, not the PCB).
  • Generates high voltage for white surface and low voltage for black surface on signal pins.
  • Large value difference for white and black surface at recommended operational height from ground (more than 3volts).
  • Recommended to use with arduino mega and other MCUs having at least 10 ADC pins

Can it be used with vcc of 3.3v? If yes then will the output ever cross the limit of 3.3v?

I will use it with a 32bit MCU which runs at 3.3v. Please reply urgently.

It will run in 3.3V but the sensor reading will be less.

Tried this module for a PID based LFR with QTR library from pololu and it works with a little modification in the example code.
Here's the interfacing code if it helps anyone.
