The Hiwonder JetRover Jetson robot car is an advanced ROS-based AI robotic platform built for robotics education, university research and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) development. It brings together a Mecanum-wheel chassis for 360° omnidirectional movement, a 6-DOF intelligent robotic arm, LiDAR-based SLAM navigation and a 3D depth camera - all driven by an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB edge AI controller running Ubuntu 22.04 with ROS2 Humble.

Unlike a basic remote control robot car, this Hiwonder robot is a complete AI robot development system. It can map a room, navigate to multiple points on its own, avoid moving obstacles, recognise and sort objects with vision feedback, and hold a natural conversation through its microphone array and multimodal AI models. Whether you are teaching a robotics course, prototyping a warehouse AMR, or building an AI vision project, JetRover gives you a ready-to-run platform on day one - pre-assembled, documented and supported by full ROS1/ROS2 tutorials.
