Q: Do you have the courage to tell us the MFG Date of this batch of Solder Paste (it's printed on the bottom surface of the container), because this thing has a shelf life of 1 year, I need at least 9 months shelf life if I buy tomorrow ? Also, do you guys put it inside the fridge or near AC to keep it fresh ? Questioned by suntop, 03-Apr-2017

MFG:16.11.2016 Shelf life:1 Year. We keep it in AC room. Answered by A.R, 04-Apr-2017 10:42 AM

Thanks a lot, good enough shelf life to have one. It's not like it will get ruined next day after 16.11.2017. Guess I will buy one ! Best option is to make a Peltier solid state refrigerator/thermoelectric cooler (TEC) mini fridge and store it there. Using Household Fridge is not a good idea because someone might eat it !! Q: Hmmm... This stuff is good. Dilution Method Worked : Small addition (few drops) of Iso Propile Alcohol makes creamy. Other option of adding Flux Cream to pastify also worked and I have put some amount inside syringe fore ease of dispense. Diluted Paste has tendency to ball splitting during soldering. Direct application works the best. Both Soldered using Hot Air and Soldering Iron. Iron works better. Soldered SMD and Through Hole both components and still experimenting. Maybe I will try some Woven Soldering. Q: Is it acidic? Accidentally, small portion of the paste dropped on my fingers and now after washing them several times, I still have burning sensation and awful smell because of it! Questioned by panna25, 12-May-2019

As you can see in the name and description, it contains significant amount of lead(সীসা)। Lead poisoning may happen due to lead. We never faced this kind of problem while using this. As you are having irritation, it's better to consult a doctor if there is not improvement yet. Answered by A.R, 13-May-2019 09:31 AM
