8 Channel 5V Opto Isolated Relay Module is a simple relay board. 8 channel relay board works from a 5V supply to JVCC for the relays and 0V for the switching signal to relays activate. It uses a transistor to drive the relay & optocoupler used to separate the output. Using these relay board you can easily control high power DC 30V/AC 250V devices or appliances using arduino or microcontroller. It can be connected directly to a microcontroller pin. It has 3 pin terminals each relay output NO COM NC. NO normally open with relay common pin. NC Normally connected with common.

Q: Need guideline to power this module, I'm kinda confused, and tell about JVCC and JVCC Vcc (jumper) and VCC with CH1-8 can i get details? Questioned by EclipseRohit, 29-Jan-2019

If you want to provide isolation between your control circuit and load part, You have to use separate power supply for JVCC and VCC. If you do not want isolation and power up both part with a common voltage source, just short JVCC and VCC together. Answered by A.R, 30-Jan-2019 09:40 AM
