The OV7670 image sensor is a low voltage CMOS sensor that provides the full functionality of a single-chip VGA camera and image processor in a small footprint package. The OV7670 provides full-frame, sub-sampled or windowed 8-bit images in a wide range of formats, controlled through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB) interface.This product has an image array capable of operating at up to 30 frames per second (fps) in VGA.

Get arduino connection digram, Arduino code and Windows App from the Documents tab of this page.


Make ciruit connection according to the arduino connection digram. The Uplaod the Arduino Code to your arduino. Next download and install the Windows App.


Open this windows app and select the correct COM port. Press "start" and you'll be able to take and save photos. We took a photo with the camera.

Q: Where is AL422B FIFO memory? without this memory it is difficult to interface the camera as it is not available neither with camera nor in Techshop.There are some OV7670 camera module with AL422B FIFO memory. without fifo > it's shitty shit.... i'm digging about 1 month long ... without fifo I need a oscilloscope or wave generator first ... and someone to help me with image-processing sbhitt ....
