RIGOL specifies 1.25GSa/s in single-channel mode, 625MSa/s in dual-channel mode and 312.5MSa/s when three or four analog channels are active.
The DHO914 can analyze both analog waveforms and digital logic signals, which is particularly useful for embedded-system debugging.
The 16 digital channels can be used for signals such as:
Important: The 16 digital-channel capability requires the optional RIGOL PLA2216 logic analyzer probe; it is not the same as having 16 physical analog inputs.
The DHO914 uses a 12-bit ADC, providing 4096 quantization levels compared with 256 levels in a conventional 8-bit oscilloscope. This provides better resolution for observing small voltage variations and low-level signals.
The DHO914 supports up to 1,000,000 waveforms per second in UltraAcquire mode, helping users identify intermittent glitches and abnormal waveform behavior that may be missed by slower oscilloscopes.
The maximum memory depth is 50Mpts in single-channel mode. It becomes 25Mpts in dual-channel mode and 10Mpts when three or four analog channels are enabled.
Don't confuse the DHO914 with the DHO914S.
