 TSB 5" Robot Chassis is a great platform for making a line follower, maze solver, obstacle avoider or remote controlled robot. The chassis is comparable to Pololu 5" Robot Chassis with added compatibility with a bunch of sensors and motor drivers made by techshopbd.

 

This complete package contains

- TSB 5" Robot Chassis X 1 

- 43mm X 19mm wheel X 2

- 12V 250 rpm Micro Metal Geared DC Motor X 2

- Motor Bracket X 2

- Wheel Encoder X 2

- Optional motor base X 2 (use them to change motor height only if Not using encoders)

- 1/4" Diameter Ball Caster X 1

- 30mm Screws with Nuts X 4

- 20mm Screw Spacers X 4

 

If you want to buy only the plastic chassis, buy it  from here. Attach 2 chassis together to make a 2 storey robot (see pictures)

how to assemble the polou Qtr-8a sensor with it? not given on here or the sensors document.. the picture shows that only 11 pins out of 25 to be soldered. which 11? how do we get these if there is no manual? Answered by Soomanib, 11-Aug-2018 09:28 AM

In one image it seemed the wheels were assembled keeping small portion to the ground and the motors above the chassis, while on another pic there is the opposite... which to use in which cases? will the caster ball support in both sides? Answered by Soomanib, 11-Aug-2018 09:35 AM

You should attach the motors on top of the chassis (keeping small clearance to the ground) if you are using components only this complete set. BUT if you want to make a "Double Decker" robot, you've to 1. attach motors to the bottom of the chassis (large ground clearance) 2. The link will work now. You will need to buy the ball caster if you want to make a double decker robot. You do not have to buy anything else except for the components in the set to make a single layer robot. Answered by A.R, 12-Aug-2018 05:55 AM

Circuit connection and coding is upto you; we won't perform your project. We assume that the pictures are enough for assembling the robot.
