The NRF24L01+ PA+LNA Wireless Transceiver Module is a long-range 2.4GHz RF communication module based on the Nordic NRF24L01+ transceiver IC. It operates in the license-free 2.4GHz ISM band and supports data rates of 250kbps, 1Mbps, and 2Mbps.

Featuring an integrated Power Amplifier (PA), Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), and an external SMA antenna, the module offers significantly improved communication range and signal stability compared to standard NRF24L01 modules.
With its SPI interface, low power consumption, and reliable wireless performance, the module is ideal for Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, IoT projects, wireless sensor networks, robotics, and home automation applications.

PA (Power Amplifier)
The Power Amplifier strengthens the outgoing RF signal before transmission. A stronger signal allows data to travel greater distances while maintaining communication stability.
LNA (Low Noise Amplifier)
The Low Noise Amplifier enhances weak incoming RF signals while introducing minimal noise. This improves receiver sensitivity and allows the module to detect weaker signals over longer distances.

The NRF24L01+ PA+LNA module communicates using the 2.4GHz ISM frequency band and employs GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying) modulation for wireless data transmission.

This enables the creation of star-topology wireless communication systems with minimal hardware complexity.
First, connect the module’s VCC pin to Arduino’s 3.3V and the GND pin to Arduino’s ground. Important: Do not connect it to 5V, as this module operates at 3.3V and could get damaged by higher voltage.
The CSN and CE pins can be connected to any digital pin on your Arduino – in our example, we’ll use digital pin #8 for CSN and digital pin #9 for CE.
Next, we’ll connect the pins used for SPI communication. Since the nRF24L01+ module needs to transfer data quickly, it works best when connected to the hardware SPI pins on your Arduino. For Arduino boards like the UNO or Nano V3.0, these pins are: digital 13 (SCK), 12 (MISO), 11 (MOSI), and 10 (CS).

If you’re using a different Arduino board, make sure to check the official Arduino documentation to find the correct hardware SPI pins for your specific board.
