The Sonoff DW2 WiFi Door/Window Sensor is an upgraded version of the DW1, using WiFi instead of RF, so it connects directly to your router without any gateway. It consists of two magnetic parts that detect door or window open/close status and send alerts via the eWeLink app.
It supports both detection and automation, allowing separate actions for opening and closing (e.g., turn lights on/off). The sensor can wirelessly control other Sonoff and SmartWise devices through smart scenes, with no wiring required.
Powered by 2 AAA batteries, it provides instant notifications to your phone and can also integrate with compatible cameras for real-time monitoring, making it a simple and effective smart security solution.
Note: Batteries are not included with the Sonoff DW2 WiFi Door/Window Sensor. Please purchase 2 × AAA batteries separately for proper operation.

Once paired, you can view the real-time status of your door/window sensor directly from the eWeLink app. The app will display whether the sensor is 'Open' or 'Closed'.
The sensor is configured to send push notifications to your smartphone whenever the door or window it is attached to changes status (e.g., opens). Ensure notifications are enabled for the eWeLink app in your phone's settings.
The SONOFF DW2 sensor can be integrated into smart scenes within the eWeLink app to automate actions with other smart devices. For example:
Voice Control
The SONOFF DW2 is compatible with voice assistants like Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can link your eWeLink account to these platforms and use voice commands to inquire about the sensor's status (e.g., "Hey Google, is the front door open?").
The SONOFF DW2 sensor is powered by two AAA 1.5V batteries. The eWeLink app will send a low-battery reminder when replacement is needed.
